With all this great information on finding the right scope can anyone share some techniques for connecting probes, BNC-alligator clips or whatever to get Tesla measurements without risking the test equipment? Some measurements I would expect could be done with an isolation transformer(current type) looped around the test circuit run. Do you have to have those fancy store-bought ones or can a few turns of insulated wire do the same thing? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
