Hi Dr. Resonance and Bart,
One of the disadvantages living in a rural area and near small towns
are no libraries of any size and 50 miles to get there! They do not
have any handbooks and very little technical references.
I have one 1949 handbook and it has some info but limited.
I will keep looking and when I find some good info, I will let you all know!
Thanks to all for the help and for the varnished wire table that was
sent to me!
Frank

Hi Frank,
I have nothing of that sort, but DC is correct, it can probably be
tracked down. We seem not to have an electronic file for a chart of
that type. The reason I'm replying here is that if you track down a
chart and can get it into some electronic format, there are
probably many of us who would also like to get our eyes on it.
Take care,
Bart

Your local library. ARRL Radio Amateur's Handbook. Charts are
included for EMW in most every book no matter what the
year. Older issues have the cotton covered wire specs.

Subject: Wire Table

Hi All,
Does anyone have a source for wire tables that list the dia's of
SCC, DCC, bare and enameled wires? They need to give the OD's for
the wire including the covering or varnish as the OD.s are
different for the same size wire dependent on the covering.
I have searched on the web and my books and no luck so far.
