http://www.mwswire.com/Obviously it will be more expensive. You won't gain performance, but the coil will perform as if it were wound with standard copper magnet wire. It would however give a very cool look to the secondary.

hello earl here this is a most serious question i have looked for materials and it wouldnt really cost that much !considering! and is something i may do !what would be the result of winding a gold secondary would there be any benefit ! has this been done ! if so could you please point me to the info thanx ps. dont laugh !too hard!
