Re: Duty cycle of OBIT?



Original poster: HomerLea@xxxxxxx I have a pile of obits that size. I left on on for days but just spraying corona off a sharp tip to make a little ozone. It finally burned out after about a week but probably shorted from over voltage since it didn't have a load on it.

Thanks, Gerry, and thanks to everyone else who replied.  The unit is
4.5" x 5" x 5", and inside of the case the iron is potted in tar.
