Well, for what it's worth, I've just completed assembly of "Kong Jr", my
3" SG coil.

1st light was not bad, but there's a bit of streamer breakout
at the top winding of the secondary coil. Raising the topload
a bit has cut back the top winding breakout, but there is still
more than I want.  The topload (spherical) is currently located
3.5" above the top winding.

Any ideas on getting that erroneous breakout minimized?

BTW: Thanks to all on the list, who have helped me
     on this project.
