Re: [TCML] Matching analog panel meters

I have Microstation and AutoCad, and am have used them
at work and in a previous life as a consultant. I'm
pretty good with them. However, as I stated
previously, I didn't want to create them from scratch.
I have a 0 - 300 VAC panel meter, that doesn't need to
be altered. I wanted to EXACTLY match my 0 - 300 VAC
with my modded 0 - 150 amp meter. If you look at my
amp meter closely:

You'll see that it is not exactly linear. I'm pretty
good with CAD, but would struggle to accurately
measure and match. And why bother when I can scan,
delete, add text, then print.

It's amazing what one can do with a good scanner and
good printer. Ten years ago, I scanned in my drivers
license, added my son's photo and stats, then printed
and laminated it. It was hard to tell it from a real
one. It had his real stats, so technically it wasn't a
fake ID. This was before they added holograms. I
showed it a neighbor who was a detective. He wasn't
amused.
