Re: [TCML] nnanred1's coupling values
hi,
im sorry i offened u. it really would not hurt to look at the paper in that it is a referred original work. when it was written they had barely found they could drive cold field electron emission guns to light deturium in the fusion studies. thats why its transformer accelerator.
those k values are real important. not as important as havinvig the seperated circuits resonate to the same frequency. that condition is expressed as (L1C1=L2C2). when the coupling takes on any of those values you obtain a frequency ratio of 2. that is expressed as W2/W1=2. where W is 2xPIxf, where f is f1 and f2, the upper and the lower frequencies.
these are the max power operatig points of the transformer. look at the paper on the RSI site, make a Pspice run to verify it .
this paper was published under the umbrella of the American Institute of Physics. in 1960 i would have killed to get my hands on the data you have been given.
im sorry i told u how the transformer worked instead of memorizing all the mummeries you operate under that keep you from an understanding.
