On my first Discovery channel segment I did a little segment on electric shocks. I used a defibrillator external pacemaker attached to electrodes on my forearm and you can see the result of 16mA pulses at about 40/min. There is a fair amount of involuntary movement in my hand and with 60Hz pulses I have no doubt I would find it hard to let go.
