For copper sulfate, the resistivity equation is: 6586/c^1.22 = specific resistivity in ohm-centimeters if c is in grams per liter For ammonium chloride, the resistivity equation is: 512/c^1.03 = specific resistivity in ohm-centimeters if c is in grams per liter This works great for cylinders with electrodes at the end, if you are using some other shape you will have to do your own resistance calculations. :) (Resistivity * Area of Electrodes)/(Height of Cylinder) = Resistance _______________________________________________ Tesla mailing list Tesla@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.pupman.com/mailman/listinfo/tesla
Thanks, Tim.Just a minor correction - the Resistance in the last formula should be equal to the Resistivity * Height of cylinder/(Cross sectional area of electrolytic solution).
