Fire Extinguisher Classes:
A) Ordinary combustibles (paper, wood, plastic)
B) Liquid combustibles (grease, oil)
C) Energized electrical
D) Metals
Most extinguishers these days are ABC. Remember that C) refers to ENERGIZED
electrical equipment. Once you pull the plug on your flaming coil, it
becomes a class A fire.
