Within the first month of operation, the Museum Coil blew it`s MMC and I
had to improvise, to keep the coil running until I got the real thing
from Maxwell.
http://home5.inet.tele.dk/f-hammer/tesla/tesla.htm

The solution was to use 4pcs. of Maxwell 37667 caps in a
series/parallel configuration.

The coil is powered by a 20kV transformer, and the peak charging voltage
is 28kV.
It is running at 300BPS.

The caps were running 5+ shows a day, 10-20min. each for a month, and
the caps never got even remotely warm, and are still kept as backup.

Under which circumstances did you explode your samples, Dr.?

Cheers, Finn Hammer
