No, I've only had it for a month or so, and its night's rest was with 
the battery installed.  As of right now, it's still chugging along, 
accurate within the blink of an eye (I have another one, wall-mounted, 
and it's entertaining occasionally to compare them: >>exactly<< 
synchronous.).
