Actually, the Office of Alien Property took his stuff.  Which was totally
illegal, since Tesla was a US citizen.  But it was WWII, and they were
after Tesla's death ray and other claimed inventions.  But they gave back
a large portion, which is now in the Tesla Museum in Beograd.  Nobody
knows if they just microfilmed it and passed it on, or if they never
returned some portion at all."

   George Clark is listed as one of the witnesses at the time the 
Tesla stuff was opened and examined.  I knew his son during the 50's 
and he told me his father "had a lot of old Tesla papers and stuff" 
but never mentioned anything very interesting among them.  If father 
was like son anything sensational would have been reported 
immediately and loudly.
Clark was with RCA for many years, maintained their historical museum 
and is considered a very reliable historian.
