[RE]Grammer and Spelling - Email client...
Original poster: "M G" <gt4awd@xxxxxxxxx>
I agree that people should try their best to use proper puctuation,
and spelling, but here's something to consider. I send out emails
with good punctuation only to find that my email client, lycos in
this case, likes to replace certain things. For instance, I found
that in one of my emails someone had replied to, all my periods were
replaced with "???". I have sent people my address, for mailing,
through email, only to find that I was lucky to recieve the mail
because of this problem. If you see an email on the list with "???",
"!!!", etc, try to remember that its likely the persons email client,
and not bad schooling...

punctuation thread. I ask everyone to just try :-)) and in the
meantime, focus on content.

Well I corrected the Subject line!!!
One other thing for posters to consider is
punctuation. I fully realize there are many posters
whose native language isn't English, but when I see a
post that is half a page run-on sentence, I quickly go
to the delete button. There have been recent posts
that had no commas, no periods, no semicolons, but
lots of!!!! and ??? interspersed in the single
sentence post. It's hard for me to read those posts
and follow what they are trying to say, so I usually
don't try.
