Yes, but.....
increasing the frequency will generally increase losses:
1) winding/copper losses because of skin effect (depending on size of
the wire, etc.)
2) core losses (eddy currents in the core..) higher frequencies need
thinner laminations
But this is why aircraft have historically used 400Hz AC supplies...
much smaller transformers
