Re: High speed Tesla spark photographs

Hi,
Although I can't spin the mirrors till the epoxy cures completely
(well, I "could"... :o)), here is the field of view at 8 feet:

The black area (black felt back ground) is through the mirror and the
outside is a combination of the room and such. I probably need to
back off a bit more. I will also paint the camera surfaces flat
black at the first opportunity. I am expecting "ghosts" till
then. But the field of view is great!! I need to make the spark
target vertical too instead of at an angle. See those hot
pixels... This camera is considered "expendable" :o)) But it is in
no danger at all.
Here is a four second exposure in a pretty dark room:

It has manual noise reduction (just dark frame subtraction) but it
looks fine as far as noise level goes. I can fiddle with the SISG to
fire at very slow rates. The camera holds 84 pictures at this level
and the remote control works fine. So I should be able to just blast
pictures like crazy ;-))
The camera can scan at over 50,000 feet per second >:-))) But
probably it does not need to be nearly that fast.
Charging the batteries and curing epoxy now ;-)))
Cheers,
	Terry
