I followed up on this lead to Toshiba website. Apprarently, entire Power Electronics lines (discretes, IC's) of Toshiba have been acquired by Mitsubishi. The Mitsubishi representatives here in US is Powerex (sans. ex-Westinghouse Power Electronics Group).

Unfortunately, no more info at Toshiba, Mitsubishi, or Powerex sites.  Tried
part numbers at all sites and got zilch, nada, zero.  Sorry.
