I saw it too last night.

A very interesting movie set in Col. Springs in 1897.  About a battle 
of wits between two magicians who end up using a Tesla coil as a "teleporter".

I think the HV effects were done with rotoscope and not a real Tesla 
coil. Or perhaps they filmed the inside of a plasma globe and merged 
the actors.

An interesting movie though --- even featured a touch of the evil "Edison men".
