Hot glue could be used but silicone out of a calking gun usuallyprovides a nice big fat bead which gives the best HV seal. I usuallyput in one large bead, let it dry for 24 hrs, and then apply a secondand let that dry another 24 hrs before putting in the end plates.

could hot glue be used to secure each baffle inside the pipe? I havea ton of plastic hot glue rods, is silicon a better alternative?
