Chip, so you understand, you are going to short the Welder Outputs and
connect the 240V cord in series with the pig. When the arc happens the pig
looks like almost a direct short so the arc welder is essentially wire
across 240. The easy way to series the arc welder is get a duplex box and
mount a jack in it that mates to the welder plug. The jack is then wired in
series. For the sake of a nice and correct drawing. The most windings are
the ones in series. This has to do with turns ratio. The most voltage you
could get out of the secondary (less windings) is ~80 volts so in a perfect
world you have 3:1 more turns on the primary.
