Hi Chip,
Assuming that each of your 3 variacs in your
"triple-stack" varaic are all rated for 240 volts
in/ 240/280 volts out, then your hookup is correct
for 240 volts in/ 0-240 volts out. If you would
like to have 0-280 volts output, then simply
change the green "110 V. L2" hookup to each
variac from the pin 4 to pin 2.
