Thanks!  The blue is just drawing paper I picked up at the art shop 
for $2.  It is just taped down and I ran along the edge with a razor 
blade.  Easy to change if it is damaged or I want a different 
color.  Countertop laminate would be indestructible too.  The plastic 
ring on the top was old, so I hid it's wear with anther piece on top.
