Just use caution when buying these off the internet ---- many of the .03 uF Maxwell caps were only rated for 10 pps or less, ie, not Tesla coil duty cycle --- and may fail. Best to call Maxwell with your part number to check for sure on it's rated pps.

Yes a Maxwell 35kv 0.03 uf is sufficient and well worth the investment.

What parts are needed to build a capicator for a 15kv 120 ma
