Original poster: "Nick Andrews" <nicothefabulous@xxxxxxxxxxx>Yeah, I think it was called Property Control. I wish I had had my head out of my a** a little further and talked more to the tech guys running the laser light shows and such while I was there. And, of course, maintained contact with folks I knew who worked there on a permanent basis (I was in college, back when they let engineering students do co-op jobs at WDW). The collector value for a lot of that stuff is almost immeasurable.

I bought some laser power supplies there for $2.00 each and an electronic balance for $5.00, I remember. Basically, the guy running it just set a price for stuff, and if you wanted to pay that, you got it. Employees only, of course. I can't remember precisely what they called it, however.Nick AndrewsFrom: "Tesla list" <tesla@xxxxxxxxxx> To: tesla@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Disney World TC Date: Thu, 23 Mar 2006 22:23:54 -0700 Original poster: "Brett Hays" <bretth@xxxxxxxxxxxx> I wonder if Disney ever has auctions?? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tesla list" <tesla@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <tesla@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, March 23, 2006 9:07 PM Subject: Re: Disney World TCOriginal poster: "Christoph Bohr" <cb@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Hello all. > Four of the units were used in the two identical siamese > walk-in attractions; the 5th was a spare unit. Wow... spare tesla coil, almost sounds like paradise ;-) > I have no idea what Disney has done with those coils.... In know, your run a business and this cetrainly changes things, but from the hobby experimenters view the tought of coils that just get dismantled to stand in the corner is a little hard to take. But for disney its just some attraction they paid for, it paid off and now its probably worthless to them, cruel world.. However, not to get too sentimental I really appreciate the ttr coils shown on the web for the great workmanship, excellent job indeed. best regards Christoph Bohr > > Best regards, > Bill Wysock. > > Date sent: Wed, 22 Mar 2006 14:14:16 -0700 > To: tesla@xxxxxxxxxx > From: "Tesla list" <tesla@xxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: Re: Disney World TC > Forwarded by: tesla@xxxxxxxxxx > Date forwarded: Wed, 22 Mar 2006 14:01:40 -0700 (MST) > > > Original poster: Jim Lux <jimlux@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > > > At 10:37 AM 3/22/2006, Tesla list wrote: > > >Original poster: "MIKE HARDY" <MHARDY@xxxxxxxxxx> > > > > > >I'll be going to disney world in a few weeks.
