your guess about the 1.55mm is right. To measure the dissipation
factor at operating frequency I don't own the equipment. But at 1kHz
it's about d=0.006..0.008 (Q=149..120) and at 120Hz it's
d=0.003..0.003(Q=165..260), by my LCR meter. Verified the capacitance
about being 1.044..1.1nF for a size of the plates of about 25.5 x
14cm copper.

   OK on the thickness.  That's pretty close to the 0.060 inch stuff
we use here (like identical?).   Does your LCR meter work at 120 Hz?

Yes, Two measurement frequencies, 120 Hz and 1 kHz are possible. See spec's at:
