milk is the other universal lube....great for brass, copper, and polys.....
Milk is an emulsion of fat in water, right? That's what they use in
horizontal bandsaws as a lube, pumped over the kerf, so I suppose this
would work.
I'd steer clear of organics tho-- they go off. Which is why you never
use veg oil for lubricating, rust-proofing, etc-- just mineral oil.
