Original poster: "D.C. Cox" <resonance@xxxxxxxxxx>The 0.500 x 6 inch size in M-42 super high speed steel is priced at a reasonable $14.42. I'm going to order a dozen of these, chop them up with our diamond disk cutter, and see how they work in one of our G-10 rotors. If they work good I will make them available to the list.
Also, regarding the toroids, some members wanted a 24 x 6 inch size so we are going to see if we can mix the 20 x 5 size with the 24 x 6 size to get good pricing on both sizes for our bulk order. I will advise the list in a few weeks when I know.

The only place I have found that has C2 Carbide Blanks at a price comparable to McMaster-Carr isWilliam T. Hutchinson, but they don't have the price you are looking for. http://www.drillblank.com Jon
