Hi Bob,
Thank you for the kind comments regarding my coil website.
Actually, I wouldn't even have a coil website if it wasn't
for my good friend and fellow list member Carl Litton,
who is hosting it on his "dawntreader" webpage, since
he does have an interest in all high voltage stuff, but his
first interest is pyrotech! Anyway, the PBS documentary
that you mentioned got me scared at first until I realized
that it was NOT in relation to Tesla coils. Althought the
term "Green Monster" is certainly not an original term,
I had never noted anyone who had named their Tesla
coil by this name. If anyone else has named their coil the
Green Monster, please speak up or for ever hold your
peace ;^)
David Rieben
PS- I've also visited your most impressive website -
excellent ;^)

Hey David,
Great looking (and performing!) coil and website.
Check out the link below to another green monster.

It was an awesome documentary that I saw only once, years ago on PBS.
It also reminds me of a movie trailer I saw on this past superbowl
for 'The Worlds Fastest Indian' due in theaters soon.
The common thread of innovation and activities that people persue as
past-times and hobbies over time is pretty amazing indeed.
