I wouldn't even attempt it unless it was higher voltage/lower 
current, something like a 69-138kV version. Making a 3-phase sparkgap 
that can withstand 150A-rms per leg for more than a few seconds would 
be a nightmare. Maybe if they had 20kv+ igbt's it would help, 
assuming you had bottomless pockets. The 6.5kv ones cost several k$ each.
