Subject: Finn Hammer's Website
I just came across Finn Hammer's website
http://home5.inet.tele.dk/f-hammer/tesla/tesla.htm describing the
construction of his two coils ... the second one using his RAT (ha ha
... realtime adjustable Teslacoil technology) is incredibly innovative
as well as looking great (at least in pics). He has a round platform,
with a 5-foot office chair base, then the SRSG (with asynchronously
placed points, and an electrically adjustable phase and BPS) and on top
of that the flat coil, with electronically adjustable tap point. The
MMC is also semicircular with individual caps being the theme-oriented
robins egg blue (bet he hasd to search for those). The whole thing
looks incredibly artistic, as well as being remotely adjustable for
primary tap and SRSG phase. Hammer also winds his own Variacs ...
hoohaa.
Anyway, I was really impressed with his work from several perspectives
-- artistry and industrial design; improvement in control over the coil,
the theory and empirical study behind the point positioning in the
SRSG. I love the copper toroid on his Museum coil, too.
