No, it was our Big Bruiser coil.    10 ft dia toroid, 0.3 uF on pri, 24 inch
dia sec x 11 ft long.

Yes, it hits 850 kV peak.

The TV people pumped it up to the 3 million volt figure.  The usual BS
theatrics --- just like the "injury" shots of him going to the hospital,
etc.  We really hated the rotten trick they played on us.  Not telling us
anything about this part of the script.
