Subject: Capacitor Formula
Hi: Victor
Flat plate capacitors are much easier to build and repair. Do not let your
bare hands touch the dialectric ( oils will lead to premature failure). You
must exclude all air (easier said then done) The pile will need to be
compressed, lest your frequency goes nuts as the insulation warms up and
start laying flat.
Making a tank capacitor is fun and educational, but not as big a money saver
as you might think!.
If you bite the bullet and buy some new or used Maxwell capacitors, you will
not be dissapointed.
