Hello All,
Putting our ego's aside,
WHY? Just because Tesla's was larger than anyone's on the list?
Size isn't everything ;^))
I think Tesla was on to something with the ionosphere.
Ionosphere was not discovered until after the demolition of the
Wardenclyffe tower. His patents etc. refer to transmission
through the troposphere at 8-15 miles up. The ionosphere is
another FORTY miles beyond that and higher.
His threat to enemy planes held more realism to me, anyway, than
Howard Hughes's Spruce Goose's troop transport.
But the Spruce Goose actually FLEW without violating any physical laws.
I believe he knew about Lasers and of course x-rays.
Belief in the absence of evidence is called Faith.
Per moderator, faith is not a topic subject to debate here.
His IQ surpassed most of ours.
Assumed or measured? Again, size isn't everything.
Stephan Hawking was able to admit he was mistaken about a few things-
a feat Tesla was never known to achieve.
To be arrogant here would be heresy of the ego kind.
Challenging assumed infallibility is heresy only to "THE FAITHFUL",
Again, faith is not a topic subject to debate here.
I think the discussion of real-life applications has hit the boundary
layer again.
