Foam Toroids Re-vistited
Original poster: Ben McMillen <spoonman534@xxxxxxxxx>
All,
While talking to some of the guys in the machine shop here at the
engineering building, I happened to notice that they were using
expanding urethane foam for insulation on a river-bed sampler.
The urethane foam was from a company called US composites.
Urethane Pour Foam
15x volume expansion
mix 1 / 1 - Part A / Part B
45 second pour time
For all products:
http://www.uscomposites.com
Just the foam:
http://www.shopmaninc.com/foam.html
Prices were $18.50 for a 4Lb kit - covers 2 cubic feet
16Lb kit $54.00 - covers 8 cubic feet
These prices are for 2lb density foam (foam weighs 2Lbs / cubic
foot), but they also sell 3, 4, 8, and 16lb..
I hope this helps..
