I second that. My parents lost a cell phone in a salt
water creek one day. It was recovered the next day at
low tide, rinsed out with distilled water, and it came
back to life. If there's no corrosion, many deposits
can be rinsed off with "cheap" supermarket distilled
water and thoroghly dried. I've done the same thing
with garage sale electronics that had Coke spilled in
them.
