Hello all and it is a pleasure to have made your aquantinance thru
the list (thanks Terry & Chip)...The reason for my post is that
recently I ran across a salvage site that once was a pre 1900's steam
power plant .Bolier and all is/was going for scrap. The boiler is
being dismantled and the generators are gone but some of the vintage
meters and control panel is still intact. The newest of the amp/volt
meters are dated 1915 and there is a really antique absolutely
exsquizitey Engraved meter that has to date 1800's something.I just
have never seen anthing like it ever before it is all mounted on
1/1/2" slate with some kind of controller/varible transformer. I
won't have a dime in it the only interest in it I have is that it is
a part of history that should maybe be incorporated into someones
control box .So here's the specs if there is anyone interested 'cause
these just should not go for scrap and at this point I don't have the
room to store them. ....Wagner Electric Mfg.Co 0-60 DC
ampmeter....GE 0400A. Meter...1915, Evert Edgcomb 0-350
volts...,1915 GE 0-350 volts..., ps the wagner meter is a piece of
artwork out of the past. So if anyone wants to hook up with the
salvage man on these just drop me a line and I'll get you in touch
with the salvage guy. Binny.... binny@xxxxxxxxxxxx
