Actually neither the weak nor strong forces have anything to do with the attraction of an orbiting negatively charged electron and a positively charged nuclear proton. It's electric charge.

Quantum mechanics explains phenomena on all scales and would best describe the orbiting electron. The one size fits all Maxwellian electromagnetics is incapable of discribing microscopic scale events.

Things are not different --- They are one and the same.

One might want to be careful looking for examples at a microscopic level. At atomic scales, "things are different", if only because the strong and weak forces come into play. I know next to nothing about this aspect, other than to know that applying macroscopic rules is risky.
