hey jeff,
 i too have collected a lot of flybacks, and spent hrs. surfing for 
schematics...i found the most success with new potted & old ones 
w/new primary winding flybacks at

i agree with the author   "don't be in such a hurry to remove them 
and wind you own. If there are at least two sets of coils, you can 
use the original windings with no problems. It would probably work 
even BETTER than winding your own coils (I've never figured out why 
everyone says to wind your own???)."
flybacks are fickle beasts that respond well to 'trial & error' 
wiring...there can be up to 8 wire configurations so take your time 
and persistence will get the results you want...also look into camera 
flash circuits...they're fun tooo
