Re: capacitors for PFC?
Original poster: Terry Fritz <vardin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Hi,
Motor run caps are always over rated in voltage. 240, 370, 660 VAC
are common. There are also 180V ones around. I have never seen any
rated for 120VAC.
There is no problem in using ones rated at a "higher" voltage.
Cheers,
Terry

Hi all,
Can somebody tell me what kinds of caps would work for PFC besides
motor run caps because I can't seem to find any 120 volt motor run caps?
Thanks in advance.
