I am driving up there next weekend to check out the area, I live in 
Mesa Az and will report how long a drive it is from my house as Mesa 
is about 20 min drive from down town. Dr. Hankenstein came over last 
week to see my little red DRSSTC (run at Cheesehead) run and was 
amazed that a 12 x 4 inch secondary can pump 30 plus inch sparks. He 
has 2 acres of land so we can pump some big sparks. This is going to 
be fun indeed!

Although this is a bit (~ 1300 miles) out of my "neck of the woods",
Google Earth shows it to be about 45 miles due north of downtown
Phoenix, straight up I-17.
