...well, I really don't know why. It may have to do with the spreading
width of the corona wires from the coil, which was adjusted ~35mm at the
bottom end, and ~26mm at the top end of the Seibt-coil, 'cause of avoiding
sparking at the bottom end. But alternatively might have to do with some
phase compensating effects of the up- and down the coil travelling waves,
because of precision of tuning. This even seems more probable, because
tuning for 7 glowing zones (=3 full waves) shows a weakly glowing zone at
the _center_ of the coil. Would like to know why, myself!
