The nst case, center post of the safety gap and the bottom of the secondary
should all be grounded to your main RF ground rod system.

I think the problem is due to the fact I grounded the copper to the same
ground as the nst and not the ground rods. I downloaded a schematic that
showed it this way but I'm wondering if this was the way to go.
