Dan,
Well duh! Is the animosity really necessary. I thought we were here to 
support and help one another. If you read my posts thoroughly, you would 
have noticed that they all specifically state that I am pricing spray cans. 
Even so, I still didn't see any cans of polyurethane of any kind for $2.97. 
What size can is this, 3 oz? Also, do you remember what brand it is so I 
know what to ask the clerk for? That would be helpful. I don't see any real 
reason why I can't very carefully apply the polyurethane with a brush. I 
don't have a fixture to rotate it on, which makes me think I will have 
trouble preventing runs, at least, more trouble with runs vs. using spray 
cans. All things considered, however, I will just use the free acrylic from 
my brother-in-law. I do still want to find the relatively inexpensive 
polyurethane you reference.
