Just a quick note that may save someone else some pain ...
I used a TRS-80 mod 100 (remember them?) to run some calculations in
the same room as a reasonably large Tesla Coil.
It seemed perfectly reasonable at the time ... So I completed the
calcs, ran the coil...
Now I got lucky and it just crashed the machine; the thing actually
survived. But I don't recommend it no matter how complex those winding
equations get!
