PE is easy to drill ,tap, and route. It welds poorly and will not glue.
Acrylic is easy to glue. Use fine teeth and feed slowly. Soap and water
makes a good coolant. Dont let your tool get hot or you will melt your
sawdust into glue lumps,
I use some oil and saw blades and drill bits when working with acrylic.
With a saw and oil, acrylic cuts as butter.
Holes shall be made shall be made in steps of about 2 mm at most,
taking the bit out of the hole for cooling. If the acrylic melts,
the result is a ragged hole, if not a crack.
