Jon,
Having similar indoor space restrictions, I built a twin system also. It is
a pair of 4 x 23 inch secondaries with rather large toroids. I have been
able to generate 88 inch streamers between the toroids, using breakout
points. As a bonus, two coils is more efficient by a factor of about 1.4 as
far as input power vs streamer length. So, go for it!
