Re: Forum

Hi All,

Web based forums get hacked (cross site sql injection etc) and all the posts and all the users get deleted unless you patch/upgrade php and your forum software every few months. Emails are lower maintenance as they are distributed, true sendmail has had its problems, but i'd trust sendmail over any php stript any day.

Thanks

Chris

Thanks

Chris

Jonathon,

I for one hate web based forums. I have a really slow internet connection,
and it takes me ages to use a web based forums. I have filters and folders
set up, so the volume of mails doesn't affect me, and I also have a local
archive that I can search.

Just my $.02.

Jonathan
