Well, you can decide this for yourself with a few basic calculations.
Firstly, what energy will be stored in your tank capacitor at 45V?
E=.5*C*V^2.
Im going to say that it wont work too well, based on a few
assumptions. Firstly, its a small coil, so the Fo is probably rather
high. This means the tank circuit will have to have a high Fo. You
are basically limited by a single primary turn (but there might be
some tricks around that), so that dictates the maximum size of the
tank cap. The energy stored at 45V will probably be quite miniscule.
Say you managed a 5uF (VERY optimistic) cap, thats only 5mJ per bang,
repeat say 500 times a second and you are at about 2 watts of power.
Not a whole lot of streamer there.
You could step the 45V up to a higher voltage with a converter (boost
converter comes to mind). You are really voltage-limited by your
switching device. Its pretty easy to get ahold of 600V or 1200V IGBTs
for a few $$ each.
