Hi
What we can do with only two MOTs, without using
doublers and burning the house down? With proper
inductive current ballasting on the low voltage side
and a charbon electrode spark gap (easy ignition), a
little coil will work properly (slow oxidation of the
gap electrodes, because low power input).

It is not a very serious project, but it can be done
by a beginner without a NST.
Enjoy
