Hi Ed

What is "an auxilliary wedge between
the reed and the core"?

I have been able to get 1" to 1-1/2" streamers out of a "Model
T"
coil. Primary capacitor was 0.005 mfd and the secondary is aboaut 1000T
#30 on a 3" form, about 15" long, with a 1" x 3" terminal on top. In
order to get this performance I had to use an auxilliary wedge between
the reed and the core to increase the output current.
